I was first introduced to biodynamic modalities a few years ago after a burnout from midwifery.  It offered the nervous system regulation, recovery, and opportunity to come into relationship with my body in ways I had never had the opportunity previously.  The profound impact and healing I experienced inspired me to pursue the path to becoming a practitioner, and in 2023 I began the two year foundational training with Body Intelligence.  I am endlessly in awe of how bodies respond to this modality finding ease and release, reduction in pain, resolution from trauma and restoration.

I worked as a Registered Midwife in Ontario, Nunavut, Northern Quebec and NWT after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery from Laurentian University in 2010.  Supporting people and newborns through pregnancy, birth and postpartum for over 20 years offered me the opportunity to be with, and hold space for, the beautiful and the difficult.  This modality is a way of listening to the body in a unique, non-judgemental, present and attuned way that offers a container of safety for deep healing and restoration to occur.
